Cultivating wisdom and virtue since 1980
Whitefish Christian Academy is a small private school in beautiful Whitefish, Montana that serves students in Preschool through 8th grade. Steeped in the classical and Christian traditions, our Academy teaches its students to pursue what’s true, to do what’s good, and to love what’s beautiful.
-
Through a content-rich and challenging curriculum, an Academy student learns to think deeply, communicate eloquently, and live nobly. Learn how a classical education achieves those ends here.
-
Our studies begin with our belief that God created the world and everything in it, and as such, there is meaning and order in all that we study. Learn more about our Christian worldview here.
-
Our Academy is committed to small class sizes, which promotes in-depth, personalized instruction. Our average Student-to-Teacher ratio is 15 to 1, among the lowest in the Flathead Valley.
-
Academy teachers are lifelong learners. They are thoughtful mentors who model the high character to which they call their students. For those reasons, among many others, we’re confident we have some of the best faculty in the Rocky Mountain West.
-
At the Academy we embrace our picturesque Montana setting by interweaving unique, place-based programs such as Nature Studies and Horsemanship in our classical course of study.
What draws us is the quality of education…we see WCA as a bastion of learning, a place that imbues our children with the confidence, intelligence and character to live well in an ever-changing world.

The Joy of Learning
