  • Our Academy is in search of a full-time Humanities Teacher, who will fulfill these responsibilities:

    Teach 7th and 8th grade Humanities, which entails an integrated approach to the following:

    • Literature: Close reading of classic and historically significant texts.

    • History: Study of major civilizations with emphasis on primary sources and understanding cause-and-effect in historical events.

    • Writing: Instruction in structured writing, including essays, textual analysis, and clear, evidence-based argumentation.

    • Grammar and Language Skills: Ongoing development of grammar, vocabulary, and mechanics to improve clarity and precision in writing.

    • Speaking and Discussion: Guided Socratic discussion and oral presentations to build clear, logical, and articulate communication.

    • Cultural and Philosophical Foundations: Exposure to foundational ideas in philosophy, ethics, and civic thought that shape Western civilization.

    Instruct with a keen awareness that virtue is the end of a good education.

    Seek to grow personally in and out of the classroom, and to therefore participate in ongoing professional development opportunities given by the Academy.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree

    Preferences

    • Experience or lively interest in the early modern and modern periods

    • Experience or familiarity with classical education

    • B.A. or higher in the liberal arts, history, literature, philosophy or a related academic field

  • Our Academy is in search of a full-time Math Teacher, for immediate-hire, who will fulfill these responsibilities:

    • Teach our Mathematics Program, Singapore Math, to grades 4-8

    • Instruct with special attention to the whole child, with a keen awareness that virtue is the end of a good education

    • Seek to grow personally in and out of the classroom, and to therefore participate in ongoing professional development opportunities given by the Academy

    Requirements

  • Our Academy is in search of a full-time 4th Grade Teacher, who will fulfill these responsibilities:

    Teach 4th grade with an integrated approach:

    • Literature (Modern Period): Close reading of classic and historically significant texts.

    • History (Modern Period): Study of major civilizations and events.

    • Writing: Instruction in structured writing and foundational compositional skills.

    • Grammar and Language Skills: Ongoing development of grammar, vocabulary, and mechanics to improve clarity and precision in writing.

    • Speaking and Discussion: Cultivation of clear, logical, and articulate communication.

    • Bible: Survey the Scriptures through an immersive curriculum.

    Instruct with a keen awareness that virtue is the end of a good education.

    • Bible: Bible stories through a tailored, immersive curriculum.

  • Position Overview

    Whitefish Christian Academy seeks a full-time Advancement Director to lead the Academy’s development efforts and help cultivate a lasting culture of generosity among families, alumni, churches, and friends of the school. This individual will serve as both strategist and relationship-builder, strengthening the long-term financial and communal health of the Academy.

    Job Description

    Development & Fundraising

    • Lead the planning and execution of all fundraising initiatives

    • Identify and research prospective donors

    • Cultivate, solicit, and steward donor relationships

    • Oversee gift processing, acknowledgment, and donor stewardship

    • Maintain and strengthen long-term donor engagement

    Culture of Giving

    • Foster an enduring culture of generosity within the WCA community

    • Communicate the mission and vision of the Academy in compelling and faithful ways

    • Help connect giving to the school’s long-term formation goals

    Constituent & Community Relations

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, alumni, churches, and community stakeholders

    • Identify, recruit, and support volunteers

    • Plan and coordinate school-wide and community events

    • Develop and grow an engaged alumni network

    • Manage and maintain donor and constituent databases

    • Pursue grant opportunities and supplemental funding sources

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit development, or similar work

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed

    • Comfortable using donor management systems or CRM platforms

    • Familiarity with classical Christian education

    • Demonstrates mature Christian faith and alignment with the mission of WCA

  • Position Overview

    Whitefish Christian Academy seeks a capable, dependable, and multi-skilled Facilities & Grounds Manager to oversee the care, upkeep, and ongoing improvement of the school’s buildings and grounds. This is a hands-on role for one who takes quiet pride in maintaining order, anticipating needs, and steadily improving the physical environment of the school.

    Job Description

    School Maintenance: Ongoing care and repair of school facilities, including general maintenance, paintwork, floor care, lawn and landscape upkeep, parking lot and playground maintenance, and seasonal responsibilities such as snow removal.

    Bus Logistics: Drive the school bus throughout the year; maintain bus to state safety regulations.

    Daily Cleaning: Consistent, thorough cleaning of the school so that it remains orderly, presentable, and welcoming to students, staff, and families.

    Grounds Improvement: Participation in the steady improvement of the Academy’s campus. This includes small building projects, repairs, and enhancements—such as light carpentry, fixture installation, and other general trades work—carried out with an eye toward durability, simplicity, and good workmanship.

    Campus Safety & Security: Provide a regular presence on campus during school hours to help ensure a safe environment, assist in addressing security concerns, and contribute to the school’s security planning.

  • Job Description

    The Pre-K Aide supports the lead teacher in creating a calm, orderly, and nurturing classroom for young students. This role is both relational and practical, helping establish early habits of attention, cooperation, and joy in learning through consistent routines, gentle guidance, and active participation in classroom life.

    The Pre-K Aide will:

    • Assist the lead teacher in daily classroom instruction and supervision

    • Support small group activities, read-alouds, crafts, and play-based learning

    • Reinforce early foundational skills (listening, following directions, early literacy/numeracy exposure)

    • Help maintain a calm, structured, and orderly classroom environment

    • Guide students through transitions and daily routines with consistency and care

    • Provide gentle behavioral support and encourage self-regulation and cooperation

    • Prepare, organize, and reset classroom materials and learning areas

    • Support student needs, including light personal care when appropriate

    • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities

    • Contribute to a classroom atmosphere marked by attentiveness, joy, and respect

    Qualifications

    • Experience working with young children (early elementary preferred)

    • Warm, patient, and attentive demeanor with children and adults

    • Strong sense of classroom order, routine, and consistency

    • Reliable, punctual, and organized in daily responsibilities

    • Commitment to the classical, Christian mission and values of WCA
